The TRAX - Over The Rainbow (Piano Version) [PV]
-the PV for "Over The Rainbow (Piano Version)" came out earlier this weekend, as most of the hardcore TRAX fans know. Mika pointed out that this PV is somewhat low budget--going over photoshoots and such--but I think that the PV suits the song. The song is slower than most of their normal stuff, so it'd be harder to do a PV for it. Besides that... I get to watch Rose. What could be bad about that? >D

-I noticed that Takui was getting a lot of downloads in the last update, which makes me happy. :D I absolutely adore Takui (even RP him~ XD), and this file is the first anything that I got of his. I put up the original mp3 in the other post, so here's the performance that he does of it on All Night Nippon. Takui? Yes: If you couldn't already tell, he is highly talented. He's capable of singing well in many types of music 'genres,' and he does them all very well. I just find it sad that you can't really see/hear just how rich his voice is until he sings some of the slower songs.
...he also happens to be a dork. As you can see at the end of this file. XD It is Anna-sempai's and my goal to go to one of his concerts in Japan. Apparently, if you're a gaijin in the audience, he stops and points at you, going: "GAIJIN! :OOO" He's such a little loser. XD ♥

The Calling - **English
-Sadly enough, it was my mother who got me into The Calling. (But she also got me into The Phantom of the Opera, so meh. XD) Anyway, their sound is more mellow rock, with a hint of folk genre to it. The lyrics are lovely and deep: I hadn't really expected to like this band, but I did. "Dreaming In Red" is one of the songs that I'm rather blank towards (still good, though!), but I love "One By One."

-As some of you may remember, I put up the zip for the album a while ago, but I never really uploaded individual tracks from vertical infinity. Well, now I am. :D If you know me, you know that I love TMR. So much. XD;; (Too much, could be argued~) I really like TMR's newest album. It's a little bit rockier than previous stuff, with more of an emphasis on instruments (guitar especially), but his vocals are as strong and as awesome as always.

-Heh. >D Kuroyume~ One of the "harder" J-rock bands. Their sound reminds me of Dir en grey and Kagerou, only... better. XD Kiyoharu's vocals are a little bit sharper than I'm used to, but it suits him. A lot. I love this band (and SADS, and now Kiyoharu, since he's solo~). I've even been able to get Anna-sempai into them. Am rather proud about that, since it knocked me up one for our 'competition.' XD Anyway, go and download Kuroyume/SADS/Kiyoharu if you like J-rock.

-Wah. *_* Okaui Masami. ♥ If anyone has seen the Revolutionary Girl Utena series, and the movie, you'll recognize her voice. RGU was the anime that had gotten me into anime as a whole, and I've always adored it. The music just made it perfect. ^^ "Kiss In The Dark." is my favorite song from Okui Masami, though "Toki Ni Ai Wa" I absolutely adore. The second is from the RGU movie. I'm uploading it because: 1) It's gorgeous. And 2) It reminds me of her. ♥ The song also happens to be the one that's sung during Utena and Anthy's dance, which I personally think is the most gorgeously animated segment ever.

-Saaaaaaaaakuraiiiiiii. ♥ If anyone who downloads this song and guesses (correctly) who the singer is--BY VOCALS ALONE--I'll give them two free mp3 requests. >D Anyway, the song has an interesting mix between Sakurai Atsushi's smooth vocals, and a (heavy) emphasis on guitar parts. It makes an interesting combination, though I personally believe that the guitar sometimes manages to take over a little bit. ^^;;

Acidman - Spaced Out
-Acidman has grown on me. Scarily so. XD;; Personally, I think that it's because I'm too lazy to shuffle songs on i!Takui, and Acidman is the first band that plays. So I've been listening to the songs a lot lately. ^^ This song has a slower feel to it, almost old jazz-y, but... not. XD The vocals remind me of Ryutaro of Plastic Tree, what with the breathy qualities and such. Very easy listening.

America - The Last Unicorn
-And here is where I attempt to suck you all into my fandoms. >D One of my favorite movies is The Last Unicorn. America sang the songs for it, and this happens to be the opening to the movie. DEFINTELY 60-70's feel to the song. (Because the movie is old. XD) Light wind instruments and acoustic guitar. Oh, so pretty~ *_* Download this song because I say so. >[

-I like Maaya Sakamoto, and Anna tells me that she's going to be one of the guests for Anime Expo this year. I'm excited about that, and I hope that she sings--but isn't the main singer, because I'm hoping for a couple of different bands. ^^;; Maaya's voice is clear, and I really like that in a female singer. I just like... well, her. XD

Savage Garden and Jay Chou - Truly Madly Deeply Simple Love
-This was requested, but I was planning on putting it up, anyway. Before anyone gets their hopes up, Jay Chou and Savage Garden didn't perform together. XD;; Instead, this is a song that a fan did--she/he merged the two songs. This is THE BEST fansong that I've heard. Ever. I had a couple of friends listen to it, and the most common comment was: "Oh, my God. You can't even tell where one song ends and the other begins. It sounds like one song, sung by two singers." That should tell you something.

Um, wow. ^^;;

When I first made this journal, I had never expected to get very big--maybe have twenty people, at the most, friend it. I checked the user info just now, and there are over two hundred people friending this mp3 rotation journal. Thanks so much, you guys. You're all awesome. ♥

Anyway, because of that, I've come to a decision: It's harder to keep track of all of the people, and who's friended this journal and who's not. Because of that, I'll only have music rotation journals my my friends list. If you're one of the people with the rotation journal, leave a comment and I'll add your rotation journal [back] once you friend me first.

However, this doesn't change anything. I'm just friending music rotation journals, that's it.

TEMPORARY HIATUS

As some of you may recall, I had to take my computer in during Christmas break to get fixed. That didn't help and, currently, it's just... dying. It has been shutting down for the past week every five to twenty minutes. It's gotten to the point that I can't even do my school work on it, let alone uploads for this journal.

However, I have ordered a new computer from Amazon, and will be getting it within the next two weeks. Until then, please be patient and praise whatever (un)god(s) you worship for the fact that I shoved all of my video and music files onto my external hard drive.

And now you all get a taste of what my NON Asian music interests look like. (Warning: Run for the hills~~!) Anyway, because of the fact that most of my non-Asian CDs are back at home (on the mainland... ^^;;), my collection is rather limited. But~ I did bring my favorite CDs with me to Hawai'i, so... um, yay? XD
I'll only post up three/artists/bands/whatever this time. And from this point on, I'll try and mix things up a little bit.

Amici Forever
--Taken from their (only? o.o;;) CD, Opera Band. Yes. You read that correctly. Amici Forever is a group of opera singers. This CD has famous songs from various operas, as well as some original work done by this group. They sing in (to my knowledge~) Italian, Spanish, and English... and a couple of other languages. I don't have my CD booklet in Hawai'i with me, so I can't remember. XD;; Anyway, their vocal qualities are flat-out stunning. Their voices are rich and... wow. I love this CD to pieces. The songs that I picked are my top four favorite songs on this CD, and I adore them. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE at least try them out? They aren't songs from any operas (I wouldn't submit you guys to that, unless you specifically asked... ^^;;), so please try them out? <333

Phantom of the Opera
--I love this musical. I've seen it at least five times since I was ten. XD;;; I ended up seeing the movie four or five times. Obsessed? Yes. You could say that. >D However~ as much as I enjoyed the movie, it just could NOT touch the musical. So therefore I'm uploading songs from both the movie as well as the musical. Anna-sempai also sent me Sarah Brightman's remix of "The Phantom of the Opera." I didn't like it at first, but it grew on me~~ (Oh, and by the way? --Darren Hayes was the vocalist for the group Savage Garden. After they broke up, Darren Hayes went solo. I haven't heard anything about him for a while, so I'm terrified of the fact that he's dropped out of the music industry. ._. That makes me rather upset, since I adored both Savage Garden and Hayes' solo work. Anyway, these are songs from his album, Spin. I have both of Savage Garden's albums, and I plan on putting up more of their stuff once I rip the CDs. (Because they are awesome and I will spread the love. :D) If you have to choose one song to download from this section, get "Insatiable." When I tell people that it's sex sung, I'm dead serious. Artists/Groups Neko-chan REALLY Likes [Part One]

Okay, you guys. This has been long in coming, but a couple of issues have finally decided it.

First of all, I specifically state in my user info that I am NOT open for requests until I specifically say I am. And, when I am, I always put a limit on the number of requests that I accept. When I say that the requests are closed, they're closed. I seriously don't appreciate continuously being bombarded by lists of request AFTER I have said that the requests are closed--several times, in fact. PLEASE don't request for stuff unless I say you can. I'm tired of getting LJ comments and emails from people, tracking me down, just to tell me that they want this and they want that. I'm telling you point blank right now that I ignore every single request after I close them. I don't even bother reading them--they're automatically deleted.

One thing, however, that I'm willing to do is TRADE. There are currently several clips and performances that I've been looking for. In that case, I'll be more than happy to upload the things that you want--if you have what I'm searching for.

The TRAX - Typhoon of the Rose Attack on X-Mas

Review:
I adore The TRAX. They're a Korean band, managed by Yoshiki (anyone remember X-Japan~? >D), and... all I have to say is that these boys are talented. Typhoon/Jay Kim on vocals, Rose/No MinWoo on the drums or guitar (my boi is a very talented boi~ <333), X-mas/Kim JungMo on guitar, and Attack/Kang JungWoo on bass. In some ways, their music reminds of Linkin Park--the ability to go from soft to hard, seamlessly, and then suddenly come out with screaming and almost-rapping vocals. These boys hit all of my kinks... music-wise, anyway. >D The point? I recc this band LIKEWOAH.

Review:
Yes. Most people have heard of Miyavi. He was the guitarist for the now-bisbanded Due le Quartz. However~ I truly don't think that he's given the amount of attention that he should be given. Miyavi's music is different. You either like it, or you hate it. I don't really know how to describe it--it's something that's completely his style and no one else's. He's such an unique individual, too. You can tell that he doesn't really give a damn about what other people think of him. And I absolutely adore that. XD

Review:
Janne Da Arc was probably one of the first J-rock bands that I started really liking--even before L'Arc~en~Ciel. They have a wonderful beat and ~~a lot~~ most of their songs have this catchy tune/lyrics that you can't help but fall in love with. ^^;; And, like most Japanese groups, their sound varies so much. <3

Review:
Ah, Kagrra~ Perhaps ~~one of~~ my most favorite visual kei band. *_* This group is absolutely gorgeous--both in the visual image they put forth, as well as the music they make. Their music videos manage both to be unique, as well as reflecting their Japanese culture. While many visual kei bands (in my opinion) tend to dress more in the 'Western' style, Kagrra dresses in the 'Eastern' style. And they make their visual aspect both appealing, true to their heritage, and absoulutely stunning. If you ever find stuff from Kagrra, most definitely download it.

--Ren, ex-bassist for GacktJOB (COME BAAAAAAAACK, REN. ._.), is part of this band. It has an interesting sort of sound to it, but I really like it~

Duel Jewel - Rain
--I love Duel Jewel. Really. I do. And~ I was given the chance to see them perform live at one of the Anime Expos. They're an awesome band, and this song is from their single Vermillion. They should~ also be having a new CD out early this year, so go and support them if you like the song. ^_~ (I had it on repeat for five hours, btw. XD)

Kimeru - DECIDE ~first gate~
--OH. MY. GOD. Kimeru. XD This I can--and WILL--blame on Lucefig. Kimeru reminds me a LOT of T.M. Revolution, so if you're a fan of him, you'll probably like Kimeru. Kimeru also does a lot of the songs for the Prince of Tennis anime (and "Overlap" for Yuugiou/Yu-Gi-Oh!), and has also starred as Ryoma and (mostly) Fuji in the Prince of Tennis musicals.

--Don't really have anything to say about Acidman. Sorry. ^^;;

--In the beginning, I didn't really like Lareine. I was kinda just "eh" about them. But~ now I really do, and am currently on a quest to gather more music. XD

--I've always been a fan of Plastic Tree, but it was Anna-sempai who got me to adore them. XD I love their music--it's so nice. And the PVs for their stuff are utterly gorgeous. *_* The best part is? Okay. This is one of the Prince of Tennis musicals, specifically the THIRD one. (The first and the Dream Live ones are on CDs. A friend is burning the second for me during Christmas break.) This file is rather large, which is why I'm giving all of you a head start on it. TOMORROW AFTERNOON (Thursday), I'm taking off the friends-lock on this entry and offering it up for grabs in tenimyu. You have until then to snatch this up.

So my computer has finally decided that it wants to die. >>;; It won't read CD-Rs (which is where a lot of my larger video files and such are~), but I'm hoping now that Christmas break is about to start (one... more... final... tomorrow... *diiiiiies*), I'll finally be able to have The Shiny looked at. Until then~ you just get to be content with files that I already have on the 'pooter. Full list is in my playlist post, which is linked in the user info. (Playlist was typed up for a reason, y0.)

However, 'pooter isn't particularly happy with me right now (Prince of Tennis episodes... so... addicting... @_@;;), so I finally have to do some "spring cleaning." Enjoy the files that I uploaded (mostly with Aer-san and Fiancee in mind, but I hope that others take them, too~ ^^;;).

Okay~ So how the previous post was mainly for Fiancee, this post is mainly for Aer-san. Slowly but sure she's making her way into the Laruku fandom, and... I want to introduce her to more Hyde (solo, mind you~) stuff.

For the 666 tour, there were actually two concerts released. (I think. o.o;;) Apparently, from what I've heard, there was one that was an hour long (which I have), and another one, which was an hour and a half. This clip is from the latter. I WOULD have screencaps for you, but my screencapping program decided that it just wanted to die on me. >:[
